We like to hear about your experiences

Partners in Recovery is keen to hear stories from people with a lived experience of mental illness - or their carer.  Tell us stories about trouble you have experienced getting a particular service - or when the service you experienced was not what you needed.  All stories help us understand.  Some stories are placed on our web page - they are anonymous - we change names, places and other identifying information to protect people's privacy.

We are aiming to promote the fair treatment of people that face adversity and hopefully improve service delivery such as housing, law enforcement, education, health services, community services and mental health services and so on.  Stories about your experiences help PIR shape the way services are provided.

Please write up to 250 words about your experience and send to

Thank you

Feedback from a parent

From an attendee at a Sector Development Workshop, Launceston

Thank you Rebecca.  It was lovely to meet you too.  I found this workshop to be one of the best trainings I have attended in a while and look forward to being part of further discussions.

Feedback about our visits

We have had nothing but praise from our patients and staff re your SFs’ visits.  Having them walking through the ward introducing themselves has resulted in nothing but positive remarks.

Thanks, Chris, THS
